1. Gyangkulee songs are related to history and religion . This songs are most important as its related to our past Historical and religious incidents .
2. Tengabanga Gheet also called Joragheet , its like shayaris and ghazals. For example Gash seni baagolee, manuj seni akkoley .

3. Ubhogheet- Romantic and Loves songs are not allowed to sung in public . There are lustful loves songs and its punishable if it's sung front of Elders Garbha Khudum (guests) .Love song are usually sung by young boys and girls while they're with friends only or while collecting Vegetables in Jungle's or abandoned Jhum (farm) called Rannya.
4. Oligheet is cradle song of children . This Chakma word OLI resembles to the Hindi word LORI. Females sing this type of Oli gheet without musical instruments.
5. Bizugheet is the Chakma traditional songs based on the celebration of Bizu festival . This songs can be branded as songs of nature and in this songs Chakma traditional instruments are use.
6. Dharma Geet are related to Buddhism . All this song's are dedicated to teaching of Buddha and respected monk's .
7. Eruk Geet are modern song composed by modern musical instruments . For example rape song etc.
